The Hyosung Halo 2 Shell ATM is an ATM without a cash dispenser or cassette. It is designed as an upgrade. If you already have a working ATM with a good cash dispenser and cassette, you could purchase this “Shell” ATM and then install your cash dispenser and cassette from your existing ATM. If you need to purchase a complete new machine- then you need the Hyosung Halo 2.
The Nautilus Hyosung Halo 2 Shell ATM Machine is a new product for 2019. It was announced after the discontinuation of the Hyosung 2700 and Hyosung 2700 Shell. A “Shell” ATM, is just that. It is a new ATM cabinet/ electronics but it does not have a cash dispenser. It is designed to utilize your existing Hyosung cash dispenser/ cassette. If you have an existing older Hyosung ATM and the dispenser in good condition, this is a great way to get a new ATM look on a budget. The Halo 2 is Nautilus Hyosung’s entry level ATM designed a few years ago. It was inspired by customer feedback. The Nautilus Hyosung Halo II Shell ATM Machine features an improved UL 291 safe cabinet with enhanced break in protection. It also features a taller frame with heavier, reinforced metal and additional welding in vulnerable areas. The Halo 2II features a front metal plate for even more protection against break-ins. Some less notable but equally important features are a slanting ‘no spill” top which makes this ATM more suitable for bars and restaurants so patrons do not rest their drinks on top. The Halo II features a 3.0 PCI keyboard as well as an more secure TCI/IP communications using TLS (transport layer security) network encryption protocol. The Hyosung Halo II will still retain it’s staple color changing keyboard design.

They Nautilus Hyosung II provides valuable revenue generating opportunities, such as dynamic currency conversion, charitable donations, lottery tickets and surcharge segmentation. It also will have an NFC (Near Field Communications) option to support cardless transactions via Apple Pay, Google Wallet. NFC ATMs are available in some areas of the world but have yet to become available in the United States. The Halo II is another Hyosung game changer to the ATM industry.
